Thanks for the replies. I gave S&W an email and requested a replacement barrel be sent to me but, if they want me to send it in I'm just going to ignore it. Since its a tiny "blemish" that can barely be seen when the slide is pulled back or when its stripped. After inspecting it further I'm sure it wont effect the performance and reliability.
