As for blujax01, with over 5,000 posts I would think he would be used to the routine. I guess he didn't like the answer to his question. But if he is convinced he could sell it immediately for $550, why did he bother to ask the forum members since he already knew what it is worth?

This is why I hate to make value estimates. People get angry. Like I said, I don't know what it will bring. I can only state how much I see them tagged by dealers, and I can state what I would pay. I would not pay $550 for badly plated HP (hammer and trigger in nickel sign of a less than stellar refinish) but I don't doubt that someone somewhere would pay it.
