I see nice model 17's often at that price. Maybe part of the reason I don't own one.

Truthfully, you can count on prices of nice old guns going up. You can also count on people who bought their nice old guns in years past complaining about it. But hey, complaining is part of the fun. It makes you feel better that you bought yours way back when. The thing is, way back when there were probably people complaining about how prices had gone up. "$350 for a used model 17? No way!"
