or you can measure outside edge to outside edge and then subtract the diameter of the round...just saying...
hang on a few minutes, I just got back from the range with my m.15, m.60 and Governor, the latter shooting both .45 acp and 45 Colt. Didn't do as well as I would have liked, but hey, haven't been practicing, maybe this will pull me back to the Dark side...
Now to download some photos and give my wife her ruler back....
