This picture shows basically identical WWII pocket knives that have different shields, and one with no shield. I find the one marked "Army Knife" most interesting. It is the only one that is labeled "Knife", just in case you didn't realize? Hard to tell which of these would have been issued, or sold in the PX? With the early style can opener, it is obvious they are from the WWII era, or earlier.
