I'd suggest a very small semi-auto, like a Seecamp or even the Ruger LCP, in a pocket holster or belly band that you could keep on your person at all times, if that's possible. I suppose if you have multiple costume changes it could become challenging and might be seen by other players during a performance, causing consternation. The whole principle behind concealed carry is, after all, concealment.
