I think that if you look closely, you'll see that the hammer and trigger are color case hardened. The trigger is a smooth combat style. The top strap has been drilled and tapped for a scope mount at the factory. All these features appear on my 3" 66-4. IIRC, mine came with those awful rubber grips.
