Not necessarliy so, My 07 only has 15,000 miles on it and It has not been abused. I only drive it to my river property which is 13 miles from home, some city and some highway miles. It did have a dead battery one time, but thats because I hadn`t started it in a long time .

What would scare me is not so much the make or model, but the miles. A 10 year old vehicle with so few miles had to have been used hard, either in local driving only, or only when towing. Those are both uses that are much harder on the vehicle than a bunch of steady highway miles.
