I found that little gem in the used rack at Cabelas this past summer. From the Taurus experts I've spoken with, it was produced before the QC issues began to escalate. The trigger cannot be staged like a S&W, but it's a great medium frame .44 Special, and shoots extremely well with various factory loads.
