Like I said, I am a SMITH GUY FIRST and FOREMOST. The S&W actions are better, less complicated, more robust, stronger, easier to work on, and IMHO just better than Colts. That said, the Colt's bluing is so deep you can dive in and I must say I have never seen a Smith that could come close to Colt's Royal Blue.

I love my Smiths and almost all my Revolvers are Smiths - I just have a few Colts sprinkled in here and there.
