I live in the deep south. Idiots run free, sometimes in packs. In 2007, I was an SRO at a local high school and acted as security at their prom. At least a half dozen couples were interracial. No fights broke out and no insults were hurled. It looked like their parents had simply forgotten to teach them to hate.
