So you've probably all seen the Grant Cunningham set on GB right now. As far as I can tell my chances in life to get Grant to do any custom work for me are behind me. I realize the custom work ruins any collector value. But two of these guns are already on my wish list. I have to decide how much premium I'd be paying for the custom work. How much are the base guns worth, stock, with no box and papers? I'm thinking $700 for the 63 and 66, maybe $1000 for the 629, is that about right? If so, I'm paying over $2k for the custom work and the grips, which seems too high even if I like the work.
