Rog, I have been considering some of those "upgrades" to my M65-3. I noticed your M65 has a pinned barrel. Is that original or did the smith do that because of the barrel change? Also, I didn't think they chamfered the ejector when they do the charge holes. Have you had any difficulties with it failing to hold on and eject spent brass?
