$500 to $600 seems to be the going price - some more, some less, but it seems to be increasing (as is everything else). Add for extra mags ($30+) and Big Dog Grips (which are $100 new).

CS45's are a bit less common and a little higher priced.

I have a CS9 and a 908 and the 908 gets much more holster time. 908's and 3913's are more available and priced just a bit less than CS9's. If I could only have one for an EDC, I'd get a 908/3913 before the CS9. Just depends on what you need.
The BIG DOG grips are nothing more than cut down modified 3913 grips. I have looked at the BD grips and find them no more than the ones I made. I have a pair of Hogue Pau Ferro and Hogue Rubber coated that fit my CS9. So all is not lost now that BD is only making a limited supply. I have a total of $25 in my rubber coated ones which the design matches the original S&W plus inserted a silver medallion logo which the BD doesn't have.

A CS9 is a good investment. They will only increase in value. Easy to break down to clean. I'm going to try to complete the whole set.
