I sure wish I would have found these posts BEFORE I bought one of S&W's attempts at the AR-10 platform. My bad, I should have done a little more research. I swore off S&W back in the 90s and it doesn't appear things have changed much. It's too bad that S&W doesn't feel the need to provide customer service that is on a par with most of the rest of the industry. Not selling parts for an AR platform is ridiculous. Especially when the rifle is made to proprietary specs. At the very least S&W should offer upper receivers and barrel extensions.
