But the AR isn't a platform and it's especially not a weapon's platform. Aircraft, boats, vehicles, tanks and anything else that carries a weapon into battle or other situation are weapon's platforms. The shooter is a platform. The rifle is not a platform- unless you bolt a bunch of ******* to it. Then it becomes a ******* platform and only if carrying the ******* into battle is it's primary mission, not shooting
