I've owned six Glocks - sold two as they were redundant, all have worked fine. The latest, a Glock 42 has been perfect and the smaller size / light weight is just what I have been looking for in an SD pistol for years.

Decades back I used to refuse to buy any pistol that had aluminum on it, as I considered that a crummy substitute for steel. In the 21 century I have grown some and now have come to accept both aluminum and polymer.

Glocks are great pistols, but for some reason there are shooters for whom they just don't work. With modern manufacture it seems unlikely there can be as much difference between individual pistols as there is between individuals.
