IN FIREFIGHTS IN VIETNAM, WE WOULD RETURN FIRE ON MUZZLE FLASHES--THE SAME PRINCIPLE. IT IS MUCH SAFER TO SWEEP A ROOM WITH A FLASHLIGHT HELD IN A HAND EXTENDED OUT FROM THE SIDE OF YOUR BODY….
