Brownell's should stock the standard sear block (which doesn't have the tumb safety). If it's current production, it should have the larger spring/ball.
FWIW, our 2006 M&P40s still have their original sear blocks with no issues. The change was a product improvement, not a fix for a known problem-at least AFAIK.
