I watched an unfluted 25-9 sell at a gun show two weeks ago for $1100. Just the gun. I think the 25-7s and 25-9s have a lot of visual appeal to a lot of people. The caliber, the unfluted cylinder, and that matte blue finish seem to draw buyers' eyes. And the eyes of shooters as well. It's an N-Frame, a big hefty gun, even though it's just a 5-inch barrel. It looks like a man's gun. And once you get rid of those hokey looking Hogue grips and put some real grips on it, it looks even better.
