I realize a much lighter bullet will easily handle a deer, but to me, the .45-70 is meant to throw large chunks of lead down range
The coated 405gr from SNS are about $57 for 250, so not too expensive. Picked up a couple pounds of 3031.. Just waiting for some free time...
