I did carry a J frame, but went to a .380. The .380 is easy to shoot, carries 6 rounds, six more can be reloaded more quickly that 5 in the J frame. The J frame has locked itself. The .380 has been 100% reliable. The .380 is pleasant to shoot, The J is not.
