While you probably won't find one for what you sold yours for, $400 from a pawn shop probably wasn't too bad. You probably got 50% fair market value or a little bit more. You could have shopped it around to individuals and gotten more, but sounds like you didn't have the time. A pawn shop is just like a used car dealer. You have to accept that you'll get less for the convenience.
