My memory seems to have failed me. I must not have the Apex kit in this pistol. Trigger pull weight is off (above) the 8# trigger pull scale on my instrument. That REALLY sucks.
The triggers in my M&P40C and M&P40 are wonderful.... they're fantastic. My 40C (first generation!) has had a lot of rounds through it, but my 40 full size is like new and pure factory. S&W must be doing pretty well with the triggers on the new M&P nines and forties. Perhaps not so much so with the 45's.
I bought the M&P45C back when it looked like a 10-rnd limit on mags might be imposed (and it still may) and I wanted an M&P which would be a sensible response to a 10-round mag limit. Like many others were thinking, if I am limited to a 10-round mag, .45acp makes a lot of sense.
If I can't get the trigger in my M&P45C to be a lot closer to those on my M&P 40s, I think I may switch the gun up for something else, like a second M&P40C.
Suggestions on what to do to make this M&P45 trigger MUCH better?
