Thought I'd revive this one.

In the late 80s I bought my first S&W, a 686-1 6", and I still have that one. About 8 years ago a friend gave me a nickel Model 10 because he could no longer shoot and he felt the gun was more of a liability to him in his condition. That M10 started me on K frames. A few K frames later, including another M10 and a 14-4, and I just bought a 67 no dash that I pick up tomorrow- we have a 3 day wait. It looks like it was shot a little and put in the proverbial nightstand drawer. The lock up is great-like a new gun. It still has its stainless steel sights and magnas. The SN is 3k81xxx which I think puts it at a first year gun. I'll post photos after I pick it up.
