Any .38 "Special" ammo will work in your weapon.

As mentioned, the low pressure 148gr target loads are very accurate in the 38 special but they have a higher price tag on them, which is too bad.

Most shooters have to go to the 158 gr Lead RN or SWC design for their target ammo unless they can find the 130 or other jacket or plated ammo at a good price.

All will work for killing paper and tin cans but the WC design is a little easier to see on paper targets and score if you do such things............... vs the RN designs.


You might try a box each, of 148gr, 158gr lead and a box of 130 jacket or 125gr at a good price to see how your pistol likes them................
before you buy 1,000 rounds of ammo.
