The bolt action has many advantages over the other action types for
scope mounting, handloading and reliability.
I'm not sure I can agree. The 99 Savage has proven to be a very reliable rifle, no problems handloading for it, and most of mine will give minute of angle groups with the right ammunition. Scope mounting also isn't a problem with them.

That being said, I also own several model 70 Winchesters and custom 98 mauser rifles.
