One of my favorite Smith and Wessons! I had my tired, old cop's gun re-done. She had her sharp edges worn smooth by many, many presentations from the holster.

The S&W emblems were worn away. I had her front sight changed out for a new Trijicon unit, as well as her hammer and trigger polished and radiused for fast DA work.

I did the action job on her by stoning/polishing the rebound slide and changing the rebound spring to a 14 lbs unit. Perfect (and smooth) 9 lbs DA pull. I don't do SA, so it doesn't matter.

The gun shoots perfectly with my SD/HD load of the R-P 125gr Golden Saber +P BJHP. It's moving at approx. 1000 fps and is damn good Felon Repellent.

The grips are Ahrends Retro Combats in Bocote (Cordia). They feel as good as they look.

My rendition of the 'modern' Combat Masterpiece...
