I see this thread is 3 years old. I severed from August 1966 to Oct 1986, I worked as a Air policeman for about a year until I was injured in a training accident. retrained into Air transportation served for 4 years, injured again, the powers wanted to discharge me but I appealed and retrained into Motion picture processing moved to Vandenberg AFB, got to see a lot of missile launches. There was a overage in the field and was forced to retrain into base supply, this was truly some of the most boring job, until I got to mange the base WRM Kits and the War Reserve material for the base. Everything was Top Secret and you pretty much got the stuff you needed. I was on a now closed SAC base.
