Amazes me too. Much to my dislike. Older quality guns with walnut and nice blue jobs should go for a premium. Sometimes can get true value if placed on consignment but often have to list on Gunbroker to get what they're really worth. Just look what a new BDL Rem 700 or an 1100 goes for today. From what I have read the quality was better years back.
