I have recently been given a S&W 686 Stainless 357 with 4 inch barrel from a family estate and would like to date of mfg. and know a value for the gun.

Serial number is AEJ 51XX wood grips very good condition looks fully original to me. Gently used.

Sorry i do not have a photo now but an estimate of date mfg and range of value would be most helpful.
