Discussions like this always happen on handgun forums. On this RSA or Guide Rod assembly issue, there was a post from September of 2013, then 2 years and 3 months passed before Gonerydin posted that the same thing happened to him. With complete respect to all who are having problems it just seems to me that the more than 2 years with no one posting about it suggests that the problem is rare. How many of you who have the problem came here after googling "Shield problems"? just wondering.....no disrespect intended, but it's a fine firearm.
