Although the Model 10 may be a nice, well fitted revolver, any police dept or private security contractor who issues any .38 Spl is run by clueless morons.

No 38 Spl, even with +P ammo, is nearly equal in performance to a comparable +P 9mm round. Combined with more limited round capacity when compared with popular semis, it is simply a bad choice.

I like both semis and revolvers and carry either a Ruger SR9C or SP101 with hot .357s for CCW. The SP wouldn't be my choice for a duty carry gun though. Don
