Look for a low riding iwb holster for smith 442/642?

I am sure some company still makes the suede IWB holster for your gun. After trying out many expensive holsters over the years, I went to the Safariland or Bianchi suede holsters. They conform to the gun's shape over time, are comfortable, the best part is they are inexpensive.

There's a lot to be said for a clip holster where the clip isn't on top of the cylinder, They carry so much better that away..
 
I picked this one up a few years ago. I don't carry it alot but it works well for summer wear. The rear of the butt rides even with the top of the belt/pants so nothing rides above the belt. With the shirt tucked in and just bloused a little bit it covers. Obviously it's not as fast as an OWB or most IWB but it conceals really well and doesn't require digging in your pants to get to the gun. It's actually more comfortable than IWB where the cylinder rides at the belt line.
I can't remember the make. There's no markings on it.

Does the lobo and alessi ride about the same? I'm really liking the lobo.
 
For deep riding or deep concealment IWB holster designs my first recommendation would be forum member "old flatfoot", screen name Lefty, doing business as Bell Charter Oak Holsters. You should be able to find him in the forum's "vendors" section.

Excellent designs and execution, and always a gentleman to deal with.

The Lobo Offset and Alessi Talon ride at similar heights and are both excellent holsters. The Offset uses an over-the-belt clip, while the Talon clips onto the pants-edge, under the belt. Both work as designed.

The Alessi Deep Cover is similar to the Talon, uses the same clip, but rides even lower.

Ordered my alessi deep cover about 3 months ago, just received it, thanks for the info everyone . Hopefully I'll really like the fact I can't clip to belt and it holds just as nice as an over the belt clip. Very very nicely made I'll tell you that . Best quality holster I have ever had for sure.
