For a couple years I ran into a guy carrying one in 16 gauge while hunting grouse.
He liked it and had the choke opened up for grouse instead of ducks.

Worked fine for him and he had grouse a couple of the times I saw him.
I had none even though my gun is a 20 gauge over and under.
