When I started in October 1978 I carried a 6" model 19. I have since carried a Beretta 92, 4006, 4506, and lastly a Sig P220 .45. Shot the best with the old '19. The Beretta sucked, the 4006 couldn't hit the barn. the 4506 was a great gun, but got heavy by end of shift. The P220 is the best I carried. Great gun, great caliber, and totally reliable. BUGs ran the gauntlet. 38 1/2 years only shot deer in car/deer accidents. Hopefully will leave with no further shots fired.
