I run three times a week. A 5K 4 times a year. I run to keep the weight off, and stay active. It's harder to do than when I was younger. But I have to do it. My son is fully dependent on his mom and I to do every thing for him. He has a muscle wasting disease and about the only thing he can do any longer is feed himself with the help of 2 hands.
If I don't stay healthy I can't take care of him.
And as I always tell my friends when we are out hunting. If we see a bear, I don't have to outrun it, I just have to outrun them.
