New out of the box, un-fired firearm, just getting used to the weapon; and while field striping the firearm I noticed that the slide lock doesn't work. what went wrong?? Just odd that it happened, I was looking forward to take it plinking today. Didn't want to potential damage the firearm. I want to know what's going on with it before I use it.
