Granted it's a different beast, but my understanding is that S&W 52s were test fired at the factory and reworked until they could get that sort of accuracy although I don't recall what the exact numbers were.

I know mine is more accurate than I can shoot it, although admittedly I think it's easier to make that design semi-auto accurate than a revolver.
