I bought the 6-1/2" version of this revolver when it first came out. Subsequently, it ended up back at the Smith factory where I had an unfluted cylinder fitted to it. Every time I break it out I get admiring comments, and one of my buddies has all but told me that if the cancer I am currently fighting gets me, he expects his name to be on that revolver when the time comes.
