The S&W Model 547 is a neat revolver but perhaps an idea that came way before its time.

If the idea is to "Complete" the Model 547 variations then I am the bearer of bad news as there are several other variants that are required to complete its evolution.

The earliest RB 3" and SB 4" variants had pinned barrels and D serials where later versions have alpha prefix serials and non pinned barrels,

My guess is that at some point S&W purged their stock of 547 parts making a mish mosh of variations like this 4" round butt with FG combat stocks and a standard .357 magnum cylinder.

As well as a 3" 9mm /357 combo variation
