ID a circa Octoberish 1917 Hand Ejector?
Just picked this Regulation Police up thinking I could use the grips on another pistol. I can't, as the "I" frame grips won't work on a K frame. I am new to the older revolvers so bear with me.
The serial on this pistol is 47XX. It looks to be nickel, maybe original (?), and has some scratches and light under the barrel corrosion. But overall, the grips are in great condition and has awesome lockup.
Am I close to an October 1917 birth date?
