I bought a .45 shield just before Thanksgiving. I really like the pistol. Recoil is very manageable the trigger isn't bad either. MidwayUSA - Shop Shooting, Hunting, & Outdoor Products has magazines for a pretty good price also. I am shooting the Speer 230 gr. Gold Dot short barrel ammo in it. It is designed to have less muzzle flash in the short barrel guns. I use the same ammo in my Glock 30S.
