Any good hardware store should have what you need. And the job is straightforward, and only takes a couple of minutes. But the first time I tried it, I found that the washers were too thick, making the bolt release too tight. So I had to make the washers thinner, regular plated washers probably wouldn't be suitable, so I used brass. Turned out great.
