This is fact:
The .380 gets good velocity with a little lighter bullet. That's with a 3 3/4" barrel. A micro pistol isn't going to get that. I've mentioned in other posts that a lot of famous people that were done in by a .380 that wouldn't argue their effectiveness, especially at very close range. Ask Mr. & Mrs. Archduke Franz Ferdinand for one.
This is opinion:
As per stupid arguments that I've made in the past, I'd go for a heavier bullet in the .380 as long as it could get about 850 fps and with a bullet designed to perform at that velocity.
