HI John, yes CZ dose sell them on their website and I did ask them about it. The stainless steel guide rod is really for competition pistols. CZ told me they contract CZ Custom to customize competition pistols like the trigger job etc... They custom CZ p01 really isn't customized for carry although you can. Competition pistols put a lot of rounds in a short amount of time. CZ told me yes, even though they do sell the stainless steel guide rod they won't warranty any frame damage. Just as any pistol manufacturer people should call and ask first about the warranty and any modification done. Just like a new car.
