I would say that the serial number that starts PCJ and the 00XX lends credence to it being built in the PC. But I would bet this is a one-off built for someone at S&W or built by a PC gunsmith for their own use. Doubt if anything like this was ever offered for sale. I can speculate about a big-bore L-comp type N-frame being prototyped and then rejected, with an employee taking it further (butt treatment) for themselves. All kinds of things come to mind - but you should definitely letter it.
