I also ordered a 640-1 from Centerfire Systems and am glad I did.

My archive letter arrived today and detailed, surprisingly, that it was purchased by the Michigan State Police and was shipped to its training division in Lansing in the summer of 1995.

All along I was thinking it was a California Dept. of Corrections gun given that they were selling CDC Model 10s concurrently.
