I still shoot my "issued" SW40C. I kept it in retirement.
This was the exact pistol that Glock sued S&W over,,,,and won that lawsuit that almost bankrupted Smith & Wesson.
Mine shoots perfectly and is smooth and comfortable.
It is a heavy firearm because of the large magazine capacity.
That is the only minus for me these days.
It rides comfortably between the seats in my pick-up.
