No model numbered K frame revolver had five screws. The fifth screw was eliminated in 1956. Model numbered revolvers did not show up on dealer shelves until 1958 and by then they were all four screw guns.

I agree that the description makes this gun a .38 Combat Masterpiece. The serial number indicates production in early 1952.
